About us

The St. Vincent de Paul parish conferences are the pipeline through which parishes provide material assistance to neighbors in need.

The St. Pius V conference has been in existence since the 1920s. It offers multiple services through its Food Pantry.

  • Payment for prescriptions

  • Vouchers for furniture, housewares, and clothing at St. Vincent de Paul thrift stores

  • Gun locks to promote safe storage of weapons

  • Links to community resources and other support as needed

65 Households received $34,361 in rental assistance

A day at the pantry

How you can serve

The food pantry is located in Singler Hall at St. Pius V church, at the corner of S. Grand Blvd. and Utah Street. The entrance is on Utah Street, under the red awning.

It takes many hands every day of the week to feed and assist our neighbors. Please join us!

MORNINGS (Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri)

Flexible times for picking up donated and purchased foods from local grocery stores and food banks.

TUESDAYS

10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Sort and prepare produce for distribution

1:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Distribute food and assist neighbors during pantry open hours

WEDNESDAYS

10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Help unload items from the truck

FRIDAYS

10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Sort and prepare produce for distribution

 


SATURDAYS

9:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Distribute food and assist neighbors during pantry open hours
